Our story
About The Shop Automotive Repair
We believe a repair shop should tell you the truth, not just plug you into a computer and guess. Curtis grew up around cars, and it shows in how quickly he can listen to a problem, ask the right questions, and know what's actually wrong.
No upsells, no runaround. Customers come to us after getting quoted big money for a simple diagnostic somewhere else, and leave with an honest answer and a fair price. Whether it's a check engine light, an oil change, or something bigger, we do it right the first time.
We're proud to be the shop Santa Cruz drivers trust when they want a real mechanic instead of a sales pitch.
- Straight talk diagnostics
- Fast, in and out service
- Fair, transparent pricing
- Personal service from Curtis

“I pull in and an actual auto mechanic, Curtis, comes out, listens to it, asks a few questions, checks a couple things, and in less than 10 minutes lets me know what's wrong. Great! I found a real mechanic, Bravo!!! Thanks Curtis!”
“Great service, professional and clearly knows what he's doing. Super quick, was in and out in 20 min. Came in with my check engine light on, got a full diagnosis, oil change and my tires filled. Definitely would recommend!”
